End of the Lie (Anastasia Phoenix #3)

By: Diana Rodriguez Wallach

Publisher: EntangledTEEN

Publication Date: March 4th, 2019

With her harrowing tale of espionage and near death experiences finally out in the open, Anastasia Phoenix thought things would be better. That she and her friends had outsmarted Department D, the criminal empire her parents helped create.

She thought wrong.

Former friends have turned to enemies, causing more innocent lives to get swept up into the dangerous world her parents created. Now it’s up to Anastasia to stop the damage before anyone else gets hurt—or worse. She embarks on a treacherous trail from Poland to Prague, and old rivals emerge at every turn. But when the final confrontation occurs, will she be too late to protect the ones she loves… or even herself?

Dear Reader (a note to your readers)

By Diana Rodriguez Wallach, author of End of the Lie, book three in the Anastasia Phoenix series.

When you write a thriller series, there’s no greater compliment than mystery fans saying they didn’t guess the ending. But what makes me smile even more than those reviews, is when someone feels that they walked through Europe with Anastasia or that her sisterly bond reminded them of their own.

My goal with the Anastasia Phoenix series was to create an adrenaline rush that transported readers around the world. This series has taken them from clam chowder at Quincy Market in Boston to a boat chase through the dark canals of Venice; from the smoky flames of Bonfire Night in England to the sultry beats of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil; and from the Wet Monday water fights in Poland to the foggy Vltava River in Prague. My aim was to capture the places I’ve traveled so vividly that fans would close the book and begin researching airfare. I also wanted to create a family drama so emotional, readers would cry and cheer for Anastasia Phoenix. Whether she’s fighting for her sister, or fighting her own heart, readers will end this series empathizing with a character that has experienced so much yet somehow still mirrors their own emotional journeys.

The final instalment of this series, End of the Lie, asks you to consider how far you would go to save the people you love. Would you risk your life for your sister? Your parents? Your boyfriend? Who would you rank first? If you find that question impossible to answer, then I think you will relate to Anastasia’s experience even if your world isn’t full of superspies and clandestine organizations.

Because believe me, you’ll never see the ending coming.
